This is your place to submit your order requests for fresh baked sourdough bread, custom cakes, as well as requesting assistance with menu development, or catering for your next event.

My name is Zoe. I am the chef and food artist behind Layers of Lemon, located in the south west area of Las Vegas NV. I am so glad you are here! In addition to placing orders here, you will come to find recipes and blogs I will be sharing in 2022. I am currently studying to become a certified RAW PLANT BASED pastry chef. While I am not vegan or plant based myself I do enjoy a diverse amount of plant forward recipes. I choose to become a certified Raw Plant Based Pastry Chef so that I can confidently create for those with food restrictions, both for medical reasons as well as for personal preferences.

I have been learning to create sourdough breads and pastries for several years now. Sourdough is a traditional method for bread making, relying on natural fermented yeast i.e. a sourdough starter. Sourdough bread has been found to be an excellent source of antioxidants and nutrients. It is also thought that sourdough bread is acts as a prebiotic in your digestive system. There are many other benefits to enjoy fresh baked sourdough bread as compared to say white sandwich bread, possible the most significant reason being flavor!

In addition to focusing on bread baking, I am an award winning cake decorator, specializing in story telling through fondant characters and colorful cakes. I have worked in commercial kitchens providing a large range of pastries and sweets. Mostly, I look forward to connecting with you further as we journey through this world of healthier sweet treats together!

Classic Sourdough Loaf
  • Add a beautiful fresh baked loaf of sourdough bread to your table to complete your celebration meal! Golden crusted bread right from my oven to your table. This loaf will have one score line for that classic look. A slight sour flavor from the natural fermentation process. These loaves take 12 to 15 hours to create, not including the time spent on the starter!
  • They are good today, and better tomorrow! They easily last (uncut) for up to a week.
  • Each loaf is hand crafted and the color/shape/score will be unique with each bake.
Hand Painted Sourdough Loaf
  • Create a statement with this hand painted loaf of fresh baked sourdough bread! I use high quality powdered food colors to create the edible paint prior to baking.
  • I know these are almost to pretty to cut into, but how could you resist spreading your favorite butter on a slice of the fresh baked bread?
  • They are good today, and better tomorrow! They easily last (uncut) for up to a week.
  • Each loaf is hand crafted and the color/shape/score and of course the painted elements will be unique with each bake.

Orders are taken in the order in which they are received. Emails are checked several times a week, although not always on a daily basis to allow for time in the kitchen.
